By following this guide, you’ll be able to install and use the 4K Kodi addon. 4K can be added once you have Kodi installed on your device. If you haven’t already done that, then click here to install Kodi.

What is the 4K Kodi Addon?
4K is another addition to the Narcacist Repository. As the name suggests, this addon is particularly excellent for streaming movies and TV shows in 4K. This addon is hassle free as it’s one-click, meaning that with just one-click, your movie or shows starts to play straightaway. Categories include 4K Movies by Year, 4K TV Shows, 4K Movie Boxsets, as well as 4K Kids Movies and more.
This addon works by searching for premium links only. Therefore, a Real Debrid or other debrid account is required. Real Debrid, to clarify, is a premium service that searches for premium-quality links. This provides plenty of links in buffer-free and high quality, up to 4K in resolution.
This addon is also compatible with Trakt. This is a great tool in order to synchronise all of your favourite movies, shows, watchlists and more across multiple devices and applications. With Trakt, you can always keep on top of what you’re watching and what’s more, never miss an episode!

Is the 4K Addon Legal?
Due to the nature of this addon, it is impossible to verify if the 4K Kodi addon is indeed legal or not. How to Install the 4K Addon
The 4K addon can be installed from the Narcacist Repository by following the steps below. Before you start, please ensure that you already have Kodi installed on your device. You’ll also need to change the Kodi settings to allow the installation of addons from unknown sources. If you have already changed this setting, you can go to the next section to Install the Narcacist Repository.
Unknown Sources
- Open Kodi, then select Settings (cog icon).
- Select System.
- Tap down the menu on the left so that Add-ons is highlighted.
- Tap to the right, then select the Unknown sources toggle to turn it on.
- Read the warning, then select Yes.
- Press the back button on your remote in order to return to the System menu.
You can now install unofficial or 3rd party addons!
The 4K addon addon can presently be found in the Narcacist Repository. Please go ahead and install the repository by following the steps below. If you already have the Narcacist repo, you can skip to the next section to Install the 4K Addon.
- Open the Kodi Settings.
- Select File Manager.
- Then select Add source.
- Select the box labelled < None >.
- Then enter the following URL exactly as you see it: http://narcacist.com/repo
- Select OK.
- Tap down, then select Enter a name for this media source.
- Enter narcacist repo or any other name you’d rather use to identify this media source.
- Then select OK.
- Press the back button on your remote several times until you are back at the System menu.
- Select Add-ons.
- Select Install from zip file, then select Yes if you get a warning message on the screen.
- Tap down, then select narcacist repo (or any other name you used to identify this media source).
- Then select the zip file repository.NarcacistWizard.zip
- Select OK.
- Wait until a confirmation message appears in the top-right corner of the screen that the installation is complete.
The Narcacist Repository has been successfully installed!
Once you have installed the repository, any addon within it can easily be installed with just a few more steps. The 4K addon can be installed by following the steps below.
- Make sure that you are in the Add-ons menu.
- Then select Install from repository.
- Select Narcacist’s Wizard Repository.
- Then select Video add-ons.
- Select 4K.
- Then select Install.
- Select OK.
- Wait until a confirmation message appears in the top-right corner of the screen and a tick is showing next to the 4K addon.
The 4K Kodi addon has been successfully installed!
How to Link Real Debrid to the 4K Addon
Before you can use the 4K addon you must first link your Real Debrid (or other) premium account. Find out how by following the steps below.
- Open the 4K addon then tap down the menu and select 4K Settings.
- Tap down the menu on the left so that 4K Debrid is highlighted.
- Then tap to the right.
- Ensure that Real-Debrid is displayed in the 4K Choose debrid service field.
- Then select 4K Re-auth Real-Debrid.
- Note the code displayed on the screen, as you’ll need it later.
- Open a web browser, then go to real-debrid.com/device.
- Login to your Real Debrid account if not already logged in.
- Enter the code that you made a note of earlier.
- Then select Continue.
Your Real Debrid account is now linked!
How to Use the 4K Addon
Browse, Search and Play
Using the 4K addon is stunningly simple! Browse the categories and sub-categories and choose the movie or show you want to watch. The addon will scrape for premium links from online databases. As the 4K addon is a 1Click addon, once a suitable link has been found, the video will start playing.
Or if you’re looking for something in particular, or prefer to choose a link yourself, select one of the Search options from the main menu, then enter your search term.
Matching search results will be displayed on the screen. Tap on the movie or show you want to watch then the addon will scrape for premium links from online databases and list them on screen. Choose a link, sit back and enjoy watching!
Playback Controls
During playback using the Kodi internal player, the left side has controls for play/pause, fast forward/rewind (if applicable) and stop. The right side has buttons to view information, bookmark scenes, enable subtitles (if available) and open additional playback settings.
Opening the additional playback settings (cog icon) allows you to make adjustments to the following settings:
Audio settings help adjust volume, amplification, offsetting the audio, change the audio stream (if available) and allow passthrough.
Subtitle settings allow you to offset the subtitles and download or add external subtitles.
Video settings provide many options for changing the display, such as zoom, orientation, aspect ratio, etc.
Toggle audio stream allows you to change the audio to another language (if available).
Add to Favourites
If you have a favourite movie, show or live TV channel that you’d like quick and easy access to, add it to your favourites! You can find out how by following the steps below.
- Tap down, so your favourite movie, show or live TV channel is highlighted.
- Press and hold the Select button on your remote to open a menu.
- Select Add to favourites.
- Then, return to the Kodi home screen.
- Tap down the menu on the left to highlight Favourites.
You can quickly find and access your favourites from the home screen when you load up Kodi.
How to Link Trakt to 4K Addon
If you have a Trakt account, it’s easy to link your account to this addon. Find out how by following the steps below.
- Open the 4K addon, tap down the menu and select 4K Trakt.
- Then select any category from the list. In this example, I will select 4K Movie Lists.
- Select Yes to carry on and Authenticate Trakt.
- Note the code displayed on the screen, as you’ll need it later.
- Open a web browser, then go to trakt.tv/activate.
- Login to your Trakt account if not already logged in.
- Enter the code that you made a note of earlier.
- Then select Continue.
Your Trakt account is now linked!

The 4K addon is perfect for high-quality movies, TV shows and on-demand content. The one-click play and 4K content make this particular addon stand out. As shown above, you can search, integrate your Trakt account and add movies and TV shows to your favourites.

I’ve followed all steps, I used Trackt instead of Real Debrid. Everytime I try to watch a movie the Real Debrid pop up keeps popping up and won’t allow me to watch the media.
Thank you for the update. It appears that the 4K addon is now a debrid only addon. If you do not have Real Debrid, you may prefer to install The Crew instead.
I followed the steps, but 4K seems to be missing from the reNarcacist Wizard Repository. Any ideas?
