Anime Fox is a third-party app that offers free streaming and downloading of thousands of anime movies, series, TV shows, and short movies in HD. No account or sign-up is required; plus, the app is ad-free!
Most videos are subbed in English with no option to watch dubbed.
You’ll find many genres such as Action, Adventure, Avant Garde, Award Winning, Boys Love, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Girls Love, Gourmet, Horror, Mystery and more. There’s also a handy Discover section where you can browse by Genre, Demographics and Studio.
Anime Fox Features and Content
With a clean and straightforward-to-use interface, Anime Fox has a simple menu on the left-hand side for navigation.
Discover – Browse Categories, Airing, TV Series or Movies.
Ranking – Browse anime titles in order of user rankings.
Favourite – Find your Watch List, Viewing History and New episode alerts.
Settings – Access the Download Manager and make changes to the interface, player, downloads and notifications.
The built-in search engine works well to get right to your favourite anime episodes and movies.
Is Anime Fox Legal?

How to Install Anime Fox
The Anime Fox app can be installed on most devices, e.g. Firestick, Fire Cube, Nvidia Shield, Android box, Chromecast, Android phones and tablets, and PCs (via an emulator such as Bluestacks or Nox).
However, this app is unavailable to download from your usual app stores. Nevertheless, you may be able to sideload it. To do so, your device must be capable of installing apps from unknown sources. Once your device is enabled for sideloading, you can install the app from my Downloads page.
Sideload Anime Fox - Firesticks, Fire TV, Android & Android TV
- Firstly, ensure you have enabled sideloading on your device.
- Open the Downloader app, then select the Search box.
- Enter 28907, then select Go.
- Wait for my Download page to load fully, then press the Menu (or Options) button on your remote 2x to enter full-screen mode.
- Select the Anime category from the list at the top of the page. Or move down to view the Anime category.
- Find the Anime Fox app in the list, then select it.
- On the next page, move down until you see the blue Download button.
- Select the Download button, then select Install.
- When the app has finished installing, select Delete 2x to remove the installation file, as it’s no longer required.
The app is installed; open it from your apps screen!
Sideload Anime Fox - Android Phones and Tablets
- Firstly, ensure you have enabled sideloading on your device.
- Open a web browser and go to firetvsticks.com.
- Select Downloads from the menu.
- Select the Anime category from the list at the top of the page. Or move down to view the Anime category.
- Find the Anime Fox app in the list, then select it.
- On the next page, move down until you see the blue Download button.
- Select the Download button, then select Download.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to view the downloaded APK file and tap on it.
- Then select Install.
The app is installed; open it from your apps screen!
How to Use Anime Fox
Anime Fox is simple and easy to use. Browse, then select a title, or use the search if you have something specific in mind.
Once you’ve selected something, you’ll have options to add to your watch list, download, set up a new episode alert and start watching. You can also tap down to view a synopsis, categories, and episode list (if applicable).
However, these options are not selectable on a Firestick, Fire Cube or other Fire TV device without using a Mouse Toggle.
English subtitles are shown on most videos and the quality can be changed with the click of a button (use the mouse toggle on Firestick) to 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p or 1080p.
