To pair your Xbox One controller successfully, make sure you press & hold the pair button on your Xbox controller until the Xbox Button starts to flash.
However, your Xbox One controller will not pair if it is an older generation. Older generations of Xbox One controllers did not have Bluetooth. Only the 3rd Gen Xbox One controllers have Bluetooth support. Please click here if you need to check what generation of controller you have.
