What is Anime TV?
Anime TV (also known as Kiss Anime Online Sub & Dub) is a relatively new app that replaced the Anime Online app. Third parties provide video sources, and you’ll find multiple servers to choose from.
Users can watch their favourite anime series subbed or dubbed and in excellent quality, up to 1080p. However, many ads and popups make it challenging to use this app on streaming devices such as Firesticks and Fire TVs without a mouse toggle.
Alternatively, you could install this app on your Android phone or tablet and screen mirror it to your Firestick. This works well and makes it much easier to navigate and use the app on the big screen.
Anime TV Features and Content
The Anime TV app pulls in videos from multiple online third-party sources. The content library can be browsed easily and navigated smoothly with selectable categories across the top of the screen.
You’ll find entire seasons and all episodes for popular anime series such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Chainsaw Man, One Piece, Spy X Family, Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer.
Users can easily save series to their list of favourites by tapping on the heart button to make watching their favourite anime shows more accessible.
Is Anime TV Legal?
Yes. This app is legal to install and use. It does not host any content and is essentially just a search engine. However, it is unlikely that most videos you can stream with this app have the proper licencing for distributing the content. In reality, this means you will be unlawfully streaming copyrighted content. Doing so could get you into legal trouble. Accordingly, you may prefer to use this app with a VPN.

How to Use Anime TV
The home screen of the Anime TV app features categories across the top of the screen to select from Sub, Dub or Cartoon. Below, you’ll find a carousel of Recent Releases and a Genre List.
Selecting a category will display results in a grid as just text. This makes browsing without thumbnails visually less appealing compared to other applications.
Browse or search for something specific, then select a show. Tap on the heart to add to your favourites, then tap an episode to start watching. You’ll get a short ad before the video begins to play.
Tap on the screen to access payback functions such as skipping forwards or backwards 10 seconds, adjusting the volume, adjusting speed, changing the quality and entering full-screen mode.
On Firesticks and Fire TV devices, it’s best to choose the option to Play in browser so that the video can be viewed full-screen. Or, as previously mentioned, install the Anime TV app on your Android phone or tablet and mirror it to your Firestick.
Wrapping Up
Anime TV is a decent app for anime fans with the ability to choose subbed or dubbed videos. This app works best on Android touch-screen devices. In light of this, you may prefer an alternative such as Anime Fanz Tube, Anime Fox or Funimation. However, screen mirroring from your Android phone or tablet works well to stream videos from the Anime TV app to your Firestick.
